In life, we get handed dark times. However, even in the darkest times, it is possible to still find light through it. At times it may seem absolutely impossible when you are handed tough, after tough situations. I have several chronic illnesses, and I have daily appointments, and constantly hurting, but I am here to tell you no matter the circumstance, it is possible to still be Thankful. Here are things to be Thankful for.
- Your support system.
One of the best feelings in the world is knowing you have people by your side. They have been there for you through thick and thin, and supported you through every step of the way. Having people in your life that loves you unconditionally, is an enormous reason to be Thankful for.
- Beautiful sceneries.
There are beautiful sceneries that can be truly breathtaking. At times when you are struggling, it is crucial to stop and just smell the roses, and that means appreciating the simple things in life. Some sceneries can forever paint a picture in your mind that you’ll never forget.
- Things that make you smile.
No matter what you’re going through there is always that one person, your pets, or something you watched or read that will put a smile on your face. Whatever that thing that makes you smile is something to hold on to. It’s okay to not always take life so seriously, and find something that makes your heart smile. That is definitely something to be Thankful for.
- Your favorite food or dessert.
We all have that one guilty pleasure of a snack that after a long hard week, we just need to eat it. Mine is ice cream, it always makes me happy and cheers me up. I’m thankful for my favorite ice cream, for always making my belly happy.
No matter what you’re going through, you can always find the light during dark times. Instead of dwelling on the arduous things you’re going through, stop and look around at the good things going on in your life. Stay strong, stay positive, and always be Thankful.❤
