Sunset at Miniature World, Eco Park, Calcutta
On last Friday, I decided to pay a visit to the hugely popular Eco Tourism Park, here in the heart of our city Calcutta, to see the newly opened miniature World landmarks in their best and to experience what it was all about. And I was thrilled, mesmerized, to find the brilliant structures in one place in a huge area inside the park, all set to be explored and looked at, photographed, entered, walk through and just seat there to chill and take in the afternoon sun on a cold winter afternoon.
And, rather than talking much about it, I will share with a photo collage of various landmarks I clicked with my handphone.
With a childlike exuberance, I went through these famous World landmarks, to see many of whom in their original forms I shall have to visit those countries[maybe someday in the future I can], and here in my home city I was truly amazed to see them being built and put up, almost in exact form as the original ones.
For all of you who will be visiting Calcutta in the future, or are currently visiting, and all our fellow Calcutta residents, I will strongly recommend this must see exhibit at the Eco Tourism Park.
I hope you will all remember that I had reviewed the beautiful Japanese Gardens in this very Eco Tourism park some time back. You can check out that post to see those beautiful pictures by clicking the link provided. This Japanese Gardens with it’s serene Buddha temple is the perfect place for a peaceful time to rejuvenate yourself. This place too I strongly recommend for all of you to visit. There is a Japanese eatery in these gardens to savour some nice Japanese delicacies with some lovely tea and drinks.
I will hope that you will enjoy these pictures, and maybe through these you will be able to have a glimpse at what the miniature World landmarks look and feel like in the Eco Tourism park here in my home city 🙂
