    You had highlighted the contribution of Sherpa community in the mountaineering expeditions , thanks for sharing.

    Similarly If you love to know how Facebook could work as a brilliant advertising medium when used in a right way in social media marketing. Pls do read this, & give us feedback on it.

    The sherpas being Buddhist would have made sense to me if I’d stopped and thought about it, but honestly, I had no idea they were all devout practicioners of this ancient faith. I have a number of Buddhist friends and have long been impressed with how their beliefs shape their lives and actions/interactions with others, so it’s cool to know that the famous sherpas whose devoted services we all know about are also Buddhist. Thanks for enlightening me!

      Thanks Flossie……yes, their follow of the Buddha gives them the mental strength to go about their most difficult occupation in the most difficult parts of the world…..:)…..

    They are amazing people!
    Especially the girls that climbed Everest at 16! That is ridiculously young to manage such a feat!

      Yes, right you are…..they are hard working good people and they work as lifelines to the climbing community in the harshest of conditions…..that’s tough.

    It’s good to know about the Sherpa. Their hard work remains unnoticed most of the time. Their photos are very nice. The picture of Everest is mesmerizing. From where did you take this amazing snap?
